One year prior, Kate announced the beginning of a new photo initiative during the coronavirus pandemic. She told Britain's Today that she had seen many amazing images and heard many inspiring stories. "I hope we can showcase some of those stories through a project such as this and to share a moment in our collective experience, I suppose."
She explained that the royal family member wanted to "help capture the spirit. The hopes, the fears, and the feelings of the U.K.A. as we continue with the coronavirus."
