Kelly, wife of NFL's Matthew Stafford, says that her postpartum body struggles were'really hard on' their marriage

"There is no such thing a post-baby'snap back," the 32-year old "Morning After' podcast host captioned a Tuesday March 22 mirror selfie via Instagram.

The former cheerleader was seen wearing black leggings and bright sneakers in the social media upload. She also pulled up her black tank to show off her naked stomach. In her caption, the University of Georgia graduate directed her followers to a podcast in which she "said "eff it" to the post-baby snapshot back.

Kelly said, "I naturally have an athletic physique so I thought immediately, I would be back at my size." I was not even close to my size. I have never been able to get back to my original size."

Four-time mother of four noted that she had "cut calories to an extent so that was so unhealthy" and "not eaten enough" since becoming a parent. She called herself a "terrible spouse" to Matthew, 34. She said that it was difficult for her and Matthew's marriage due to her feelings about her own body. I was so insecure. I was so insecure. ... I didn't want to get intimate, because I was s-t hanging around everywhere."

Kelly, now focused on her family and letting her "body fall in place", gave birth to and the NFL player's twin girls in 2017. Hunter, now 3 years old, and Tyler, now aged 20 months, followed their arrival in July 2018 and July 2020.

Baby No. 4 was born a few days before baby No. Kelly was 4 when she had to have surgery to remove a brain tumour following an acoustic neuma diagnosis. This is a non-cancerous condition that causes slow-growing, non-cancerous tumors along the branches the eighth cranial nervous.

Kelly said that she will "never again" be the same after her procedure, as she shared with her Instagram followers in October 2019.

"I still have symptoms. They aren't symptoms anymore. Kelly said that they are just part of me. I remember how strong I am every time I have headaches, lose my feet, or get yelled about by my girls because I didn't listen when they really meant it, and I never forget that. How strong my marriage is. How strong my family is. It was part of God's plan. A plan I fully support. It is a great feeling to be here.

In June 2013, the couple welcomed their youngest child. Kelly took all the children to the Super Bowl in February when her husband was playing against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The team won the game and Kelly was invited to a celebratory parade later in that week. The viral video of Matthew escaping from a photographer who fell from a platform during the event went viral.

He and his wife, who helped the photographer at the time of the incident, stated in a joint statement that they had been in contact with Kelly Smiley. We told Kelly that we would cover all her hospital bills as well as replace her cameras. We wish her speedy recovery.
