"Kim is deeply confused about her future and how the children will be without Kanye," an insider revealed to Us.
After seven years of marriage, the KKW Beauty founder, aged 40, filed for divorce. In the final season, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians actress stated that she and the rapper, 44, had "just a basic difference of opinions on a couple of things" after putting a lot of effort into making the marriage work.
However, Us has been told by a source that Kim didn't know how lonely and unhappy he was until Kardashian, with whom he shares children North (8, Saint, 5, Chicago (3, and Psalm 2) -- filed the paperwork for their separation.
This was the moment when the father-of-four changed his behavior. The insider says that Kim's decision to end his marriage has been made more difficult by Kanye's presence in the relationship over the past few months.
They still have a lot to work out and aren't back together.
The insider says Kim isn't calling off the divorce, at least not yet.
According to Us legal documents, the divorce case remains open. However, no action has been taken since April 9.
They began dating in 2012 and are still supportive each other despite their split. West surprised fans by bringing his ex-wife out in a wedding gown to his Donda listening party, Chicago on Thursday August 26th. They then recreated their May 2014 nuptials.
