Mercato: Betis competes with OM for Mohamed-Ali Cho (Angers)

Real Betis, in turn, checked the name of Mohamed-Ali Cho for the summer transfer window, reveals RMC Sport. The French international hopeful striker, aged only 18, comes out of a season with 4 goals and an assist in 32 Ligue 1 matches (21 starts). Betis, 5th in the Spanish championship, would have "catch up" in this case on Olympique de Marseille and Eintracht Frankfurt.

OM tested the waters several months ago for Cho, who will be out of contract in a year. In January, RMC Sport told us that the SCO was opening up to a departure to remedy finances in the red. Last week, L'Équipe informed that the Angevin club, 14th in Ligue 1, was about to be bought by an American investment fund. Not sure this will delay Cho's departure though.
