The 35-year-old former Bachelorette wept over being far from her family. The host of "Off the Vine," a podcast, shared a selfie with her Story in which she was crying. She captioned it "My tear tattoo fits perfectly" and followed up with a series candid videos.

Bristowe said on the next slide via caption that she was "so emotional these last few days". Bristowe stated, "I used to put on Family Guy as a cheering up song if I was ever down. But now I find it stupid." "It's hard sometimes being away. I don't think I've been back to Canada for two years.

Canadian Bachelorette host, the Bachelorette cohost, said that she felt homesick after a phone call with family members.

To distract herself from her sadness, the founder of Dewed It asked her fans to recommend movies or series. Bristowe added, "So, anything that makes people smile 'cuz right now I'm missing so many people & dogs," between the tears. "Damn it!"

Former Dancing With the Stars champion also spoke out about how difficult it was to be away from her family and friends.

Bristowe stated, "I was FaceTiming with my mother and my nieces and nephews yesterday and it's just as, nah." "It's been so long since they've seen me, and you know how close I am to them all."

Through her tears, she continued to record, "It’s been really difficult, and Jason's family is so loved, so so I wish they were too. But it's hard because people sometimes give me s-t, like, "Why aren’t you with Jason?' or “Why do you leave your dogs?”
