Twitter users are quick to spot mistakes in favorite films and shows, but TikTok users are quicker. TikTok is the place to go to to spot fashion mistakes and continuity problems.
The inconsistencies in shows like Friends and Gossip Girl are hard to overlook with streaming services at their fingertips.
After she pointed out an style error on season 6 of Gossip Girls eight years ago, TikTok user @ Skyehanamaikai became viral in spring 2020.
She also revealed that Blake Lively's character Serena Van Der Woodsen was accidentally filmed in black sweatpants underneath her peach dress in a scene from "Portrait of a Lady Alexander".
One social media user responded to the reveal by writing, "I've seen and GG six different times already and I never noticed it," Another user asked: "Why didn't I notice this?"
Another user suggested that the sweatpants could have been due to the cold temperature on TV sets. He said, "Most actors wear layers between takes, and sometimes leave them on if they are from the waist up."

A viewer who was keenly watching TikTok noticed that Salvador "Sal" Perez's and Mallory Zapata’s dinner portions had changed in just one scene of season 2. The amount of stir-fry they had on their plates varied as the couple ate together. The user noticed that their plates changed from full to full in one conversation.
Gossip Girl Fashion Error
One user noticed a fashion faux pas while watching the fourth episode of Gossip Girl season 6 titled "Portrait of a Lady Alexander" in May 2020. Lively's character is seen wearing a peach dress as she stands in a restaurant. However, in the next frame, Lively's character is wearing black sweatpants underneath her fitted frock. This was a huge mistake in the wardrobe department.
Avengers Endgame Mishap
TikTok user @Laurisramirez10 made a viral video in May 2020, after pointing out a major plot flaw in Avengers Endgame. When Black Panther (the late Chadwick Boaseman), takes the Infinity Gauntlet (the Infinity Gauntlet), Ant-Man ( Paul Rudd ) appears in the background. However, Ant-Man is wrongly hotwiring a van alongside Wasp ( Evangeline Lilly). This means that he accidentally is in two places simultaneously.
High School Musical Song Swap
One social media user noticed a problem in the singing of Troy Bolton (Zac Elfron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens). Gabriella stops on the stage and starts to walk away, but Troy stops her. They return to the center stage, where Troy starts singing. Strangely, it was Gabriella who was supposed start the song. This is why her stage fright nearly halted the entire number. However, Troy gets things started.
Barefoot Upper Eastsider
One Gossip Girl fan noticed that, while Blair Waldorf (Leighton Myester) and Dan Humphry(Penn Badgley), are out walking at a party in June 2020, there is an additional in the background who is wearing one shoe. On one side, the woman is seen walking barefoot and on the other wearing a high heel.
