Be careful not to say his name three times! Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, sequel to Tim Burton's fantasy-horror comedy, is finally revealed in a first teaser. Thirty-six years after the first episode, the director returns alongside Michael Keaton in the role of the prankster demon, Winona Ryder in the role of Lydia and Catherine O'Hara in that of Delia.

In this sequel, the Deetz family is back in Winter River and will have to face Beetlejuice again when Lydia's daughter opens a portal leading to the Afterlife. Directed by Tim Burton, the screenplay is nevertheless written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who already worked on the series Wednesday. In the casting, moviegoers will easily recognize the star of the Netflix series Jenna Ortega in the role of Astrid, while Justin Theroux (The Leftovers), Monica Bellucci (Irréversible, 007 Spectre), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon) and Willem Dafoe (Poor Creatures, Spider-Man) also joins the cast. The film will be released in France on September 11, 2024.
