The weekend is the perfect time to catch up on new releases on streaming platforms. This week, subscribers of the various giants of the sector can discover the live action adaptation of a cult manga, but also a mini-series which retraces a sordid Spanish news story on Netflix. On Prime Video, a talent competition is likely to get people talking, unless subscribers are seduced by a new romantic comedy or a horror anthology series.

Below, we summarize the new streaming releases of the week that you shouldn't miss. The rest of this article only includes programs that were released on platforms from April 22, 2024, and could therefore omit essentials released a few days before.
