The couple first met on The Challenge: Final Reckoning. They were in a relationship with Bachelorette alum Danielle Maltby.
The Challenge costars continued to be in love, but the drama did not end there. Maltby and Sorbello realized later that he was still talking with them both.
"I made a mistake. I made a mistake. He admitted that he did it, and that he can take responsibility for it in a December 2018 episode on "Watch With Us." Sorbello said, through tears, that he didn't want any of this to be true, because he knows how I feel about him, and how they were together. "I want all that to be true so badly."
They persevered and made it through. Calafiore and Sorbello drove across the country to win the champs vs pros winner back. They started fresh and began dating months later.
After War of the Worlds, they decided to take a break from challenges. They told Us that it was better for both their mental health as well as their relationship.
Happiness is not a commodity. I have been, like, you know, the money is so great for so long. I cannot say no. "I needed a little break to maintain my sanity, my happiness, and just find what makes me happy again," she shared with Us. "I'm freakin’ fantastic so I'm going to have a little break so someone else can make me the bad guy next season because I won't be there!"
