Finally, we know the arrival date of the Max platform in France. After months of speculation, the boss of Warner Bros Discovery's streaming and games services took advantage of the Séries Mania festival to confirm that the streaming platform which broadcasts content from HBO and Warner (in particular) will arrive in the territory before the Olympic Games from Paris, next July, Warner tells us. The precise date has not yet been officially communicated.
This is a highly anticipated new offering in the audiovisual landscape, since we will find HBO productions on this streaming platform. We do not yet know the French catalog, but several very popular programs should be on the platform, such as Game of Thrones, Succession, The White Lotus, Euphoria and The Last of Us. Previously, these programs were available on Prime Video via the Warner pass. We do not yet know how coexistence between the two platforms will take place.
