The Blues jersey plays vintage, it is already available before the Euro

The French football team has its new jersey. This vintage-looking outfit will be worn during the next Euro in June 2024.

The sporting summer will be rich. After the end of the Champions League and the Europa League (with PSG and OM in the semi-final), then Roland-Garros and before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Euro 2024 football will be held in the month of June. Didier Deschamps' Blues, qualified after an impeccable run in the qualifiers, will naturally be among the favorites, less than two years after a Homeric World Cup final.

For this competition, Nike made the brand new Blues jersey official at the end of March during friendly matches. It turns the page from darker blues seen in recent years and returns to a typical "France" blue. Lovers of vintage jerseys and tributes to glorious periods will be served since the rooster with its classic design is back and in a prominent place. Too big ? Opinions differ but this jersey created a sensation while its blue-white-red collar also seduced. Good news if you want to anticipate and already support the Blues, the jersey is available online.

As usual, it is found in two versions, the so-called "supporter" jersey is a replica of the original but has the same design and the "authentic" jersey is technically identical to that of the players with its sports textile called Dri-Fit. The price is obviously different: 99 euros for the stadium “supporter” jersey and 149 euros for the authentic jersey.

For those who prefer the away jersey, this white jersey is also available. It also has a rather vintage design reminiscent of jerseys worn by the Platini generation at the 1978 World Cup or in the early 1980s. This jersey is also available in two versions.

A quick word on the next deadlines? After the list of 23 players which must be given by Didier Deschamps on May 16, the Blues will play two friendly matches at the beginning of June against Luxembourg (June 5 in Metz) and Canada (June 9 in Bordeaux) before the start of the Euro on June 14. Kylian Mbappé's teammates will start against Austria on June 17 in Düsseldorf, before facing the Netherlands on June 21 in Leipzig and Poland on June 25 in Dortmund.
