The islamologist referred by a judicial review that prevents him from leaving the French territory, has been interviewed a little over three hours by the prosecutor of Geneva.

The islamologist Tariq Ramadan, indicted in France for four rapes he contests, was heard Thursday in the court of Paris by the public prosecutor of Geneva, and another charge of rape with violence made by a woman in Switzerland.

The swiss scholar, subject to a judicial control which prevents it from leaving the French territory, has been interviewed a little over three hours by the prosecutor of Geneva, in the presence of a French investigating judge in charge of investigations on the panes in the French case. He is accused for 2018 by a Swiss woman of having raped and kidnapped in Geneva in 2008.

"The hearing of Tariq Ramadan went very well, there is no indictment, obviously the investigation continues", said at the conclusion of the hearing, one of his lawyers, Pascal Garbarini. "Tariq Ramadan has been very accurate and has made a statement very detailed, which I think has had a very positive effect", he developed.
