Why the Royal Family Members are Still Worried About Their Reconciliation With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

he life at the palace, relatives across the pond "still raw", according to a royal expertJonathan Sacerdoti SubmittedUs WeeklyOnly on Tuesday, August 31,

The British journalist said that there had been "some discussions," and that reconciliation attempts were attempted over the course of the year. "But I keep repeating that, you know... I'm never a party to their private discussions, but it must be extremely difficult to try to have those conversations because [other Royals] must always worry about what Megan or Harry will reveal to the media or... in a revised version of [Finding Freedom]or in Prince Harry’s own book."

He told Us that he thinks there might be a nervousness in the royal family to say too many things and make too great an effort to reconcile.

In January 2020, Harry, 36, and the 40-year-old actress announced that they were leaving their senior roles in the royal family. Two months later, they relocated to California with son Archie, now 2. A source informed Us that William, 39 was blindsided by the move of his younger brother.

Earlier this year, however, the Invictus Games founder asserted during his and Meghan's CBS tell-all that he gave his 95-year-old grandmother a heads up about the decision to exit. A second source said that Harry's 72-year-old father and the queen were not on the same page regarding the next steps for the family after the March bombshell interview.

The insider stated that Charles and the queen had very distinct plans on how to respond. "Charles wanted to rebuke every claim made by Meghan and Harry and the queen wanted to take a more modest approach."

The couple's revelations caused eyebrows, including the claim that Archie's family member raised "concerns" about Archie. Buckingham Palace said in a statement that the whole family was shocked to discover how difficult the past few years were for Harry and Meghan. These issues, especially those relating to race, are troubling.

The family responded, "While some recollections might differ, they are taken very serious and will be addressed privately by them." Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."

Harry and the Suits alum went on to welcome daughter Lilibet "Lili" Diana in June. A new excerpt from 2020’s Finding Freedom showed that the couple was close to identifying the relative who had allegedly commented on their son’s skin. (Harry previously confirmed it was neither the queen nor the late Prince Philip.)
