What is the rapper P. Diddy accused of, in the sights of American justice?

The luxurious properties of American rapper P Diddy were the subject of a large-scale search.

Rapper P. Diddy more than ever in the sights of American law enforcement. This Monday, two properties of the controversial artist, located in Los Angeles and Miami, were searched by federal agents, equipped with two helicopters, boats and dozens of men, reports the American press, including the tabloid TMZ , which publishes photos of the operation.

The American rapper, real name Sean Combs, is the target of a federal investigation opened last November for sex trafficking, report several sources, including NBC News, which explains that "three women and a man were questioned by federal officials at Manhattan regarding allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and solicitation and distribution of narcotics and illegal firearms."

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our partners local law enforcement agencies. We will provide further information as it becomes available,” a spokesperson for the federal Homeland Security Investigations unit said in a statement relayed by Rolling Stone magazine. Unlike two of his sons, Justin and King, P. Diddy was not present during this large-scale search.

In recent months, the heavyweight of US rap has been targeted by several accusations and complaints, notably for rape and violence. His ex-partner, R'n'B singer Cassie, filed a complaint against P.Diddy last November, for acts of rape and physical violence which allegedly occurred over 13 years, between 2005 and 2018, when she was in a relationship with the rapper, 17 years her senior.
