Always at the helm behind the screenplay and the camera, Roger Kumble, to whom we notably owe Sex Intentions as screenwriter and director, ensured the adaptation of Jamie McGuire's work.
To play the apparently mismatched couple, the choice fell on Dylan Sprouse (Zack and Cody: the movie, After - chapter 2) and Virginia Gardner (Runaways). They are surrounded by a group of young actors including Austin North (Outer Banks), Rob Estes (Melrose Place, 90210 Beverly Hills: New Generation) and Steven Bauer (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul).
