MC Solaar unveils “Triptyque: Lueurs Célestes”, the first of three albums

After seven years of absence, MC Solaar is releasing “Lueurs Célestes” this Friday, the first part of a triptych of albums.

After seven years of absence, MC Solar is back with an album: called Triptych: Lueurs Célestes, it is the first part of three unreleased albums. Announced at the beginning of the month with the surprise single Ils dansent, this first disc is made up of seven unreleased tracks. A first since Géopoétique, his last album, released in 2017. "During these seven years, there was a year of confinement. When we came out of it, I was bulimic. We did a tour with a big band, and directly after the second year of the big band, we entered different studios, in different cities to meet different producers", explains the artist to BFMTV.

This first glimpse of his triptych opens with the hard-hitting Pierre-feuille and offers a few nuggets as he has the secret, like the song Modernidad. All with sharp texts, depicting our society and its failings. After Lueurs Célestes, MC Solaar will publish two other discographic parts, alongside his tour of around sixty dates, including two Olympia in March and four dates at the Salle Pleyel in Paris this fall, in November.

In recent years, MC Solar has been relatively discreet on the media scene. In May 2023, he unveiled Everything Transforms, a song taken from the soundtrack of the blockbuster Transformer, released in June.
