In 2009, the first episode of the Very Bad Trip saga took everyone by surprise. This comedy directed by Todd Phillips (who has since directed Joker in a completely different genre) does not hesitate to be uninhibited, schoolboy or regressive thanks to a scenario that is both surprising and very funny. The pitch is very simple: after a drunken bachelor party, the fiancé disappears, less than two days before his wedding. Logically, the success of Very Bad Trip allows it to give birth to sequels, much less popular among the press, but still effective. In the second episode (released in 2011), it's Stu's turn to bury his life as a bachelor in Bangkok, while the third episode (released in 2013) sees the gang leave for Las Vegas to help Alan to find one's way. As in the first episode, the trips degenerate and take on disproportionate proportions.
