After claiming that Martin (Blake Lee) punishes her using a soda and she woke up in his cellar, she was introduced with the chatroom conversation she had with her stepsister, which revealed that she went into Martin's house by herself. Not only was Kate heartbroken to figure out the identity of her chatroom friend, she was also angry at Jeanette (Chiara Auriela) for exposing this type of personal conversation.
Finally, Kate and Jeanette met up face to face to go over everything that happened. Kate told Jeanette she knew she had busted in on Christmas Eve in 1993. Jeanette admitted that although added that she never went in the cellar -- so if Kate knew she had been there, she must not have been in the basement either.
Kate then explained that throughout this night, she had been home alone and known as Jamie (Froy Gutierrez), while holding the snow world. This has been the breathy message made on Jamie's answering machine that he let Jeanette listen to. When Kate heard Jeanette come in, as crowds understand, she hid on the next floor. Jeanette ultimately took the snow globe and abandoned, accidentally leaving her necklace supporting. Kate then looked out the window saw Jeanette's bike; she knew it had been hers since it had a playing card stuck at the wheel -- exactly the same bicycle Jeanette was riding away on earlier in the season.
Kate admitted she did not see Jeanette's face, so she'd whined about"holding eye contact." But since she noticed her voice, discovered her necklace and saw her motorcycle, she had been convinced. After Kate said that the bicycle had a card in it, Jeanette realized Kate definitely never watched her face -- since that was not her bike: It was Mallory's (Harley Quinn Smith).
Mallory showed up at Jeanette's house after following her home and called her a weirdo. Jeanette gave her snow world and kicked her out of the home. It's likely the Mallory never gave the snow world back to protect Kate, Jeanette informed her.
She clarified that they went from actual buddies to more before"matters escalated to a really dark location." She said there was one part she could not remember so she wanted to return into the basement to find it out.
