After a dispute with Yolanda Hadid and Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik pleads guilty harassment

Following an altercation with Yolanda Hadid, Zayn Malik pleaded guilty in one count to harassment.

On Thursday, reports began circulating about an alleged fight between the two. The former One Direction star strongly denied that he assaulted Yolanda (the mother of his partner Gigi). He claimed that the dispute was a private matter.

US outlet TMZ reported that Zayn was indicted on four counts of harassment against Yolanda Gigi. Official court documents show that he pled guilty only to one.

TMZ claims that the documents prove the alleged altercation occurred at Gigi's Pennsylvania residence on September 29th.

According to some reports, the singer called Yolanda "f***ing Dutchs**t" after telling her: "Stay away [from] my f***ing daughters."

TMZ claims that he was placed on 360-day probation and fined. He also had to complete anger management classes and domestic violence programmes. Yolanda is said to have barred him from any contact.

OK! Gigi has reached out to representatives of Yolanda, Zayn and Yolanda for comments.

Zayn's prior statement regarding the matter, which was released before the court documents were made public, stated: "As most of you know, I am a private individual and I very much want a safe space for my daughter.

"A place where private family matters don't get thrown on the global stage for all to see and discuss."

He continued, "In an attempt to protect that space she I agreed not to contest claims arising out of an argument I had with my partner's family member who entered our home several weeks ago while my partner was away."

This was and should have been private, but it seems that there is now a division and despite my efforts for peace in our family and the ability to co-parent my child in a way she deserves, this has been 'leaked to the media.

"I hope for healing for everyone involved with the harsh words spoken, but more importantly I will continue to watch for Khai and ensure she has the privacy and protection she deserves."

Then, he released a statement that read: "I adamantly denied striking Yolanda Haidid. For the sake of my child I decline to provide any additional details. I hope Yolanda will reconsider these false allegations and work towards resolving these family issues privately."

Gigi's representative issued a statement saying that Gigi was solely focused on Khai's best interests. She requests privacy at this point.
