Flooding in many places in Mid-Norway – residents isolated

Kommunalsjef in Snillfjord, Åge Røe, is among the residents who are shut-in. He works from omsorgssentret Monday.

– There is full staffing and no krisestemning. Many of the employees on the omsorgssentret live on the side of the river that is closed off because of flooding, says Røe.

He tells that it is set kriseledelse in the municipality and that they have made plans about the airlift, if someone were to need immediate help.

Landslide

These roads are closed in Trøndelag:

E14 between Stjørdal and Storlien is closed after the landslide. The entrepreneur is on the way to rasstedet. Road 6592 by Gaustadvatnet,is closed due to flooding. E6 in Eggetunnelen in Bristol is closed because of possible damage.

– There have been a lot of rain. The water has come close on the houses and the road. I have a basement full of water. Now fortunately the waters on the way back. It tells Lars Ree from Meldal. He was also without power Monday morning.

Police reported that over 100 sheep shall be taken after the river Surna went over its banks.

Fire and police fully mobilised to rescue the sheep that is trapped between the water and safe ground, informs the police.
