What looks like a simple tree trunk actually hides a living owl.
The owl is almost perfectly camouflaged with the tree, its feathers having the same shades of brown and gray. But if you look very closely, you should be able to spot the difference and locate this nocturnal creature.
The photo was captured by photographer Larry Lynch as the owl came to rest in a tree near his home in Florida. "I was very excited and relieved that the picture turned out so well," Lynch said. "The lighting for this shoot was tricky."
