Vaping Vs. Smoking: Does Vaping Affect your Health?

When we talk about vaping, smoking has to come up to compare the health hazards between the two. The idea behind CBD vape is to help smokers reduce their smoking habits with a less harmful device and substance. Therefore it’s important to compare the two since most vape users are ex-smokers or those trying to wean off the smoking behavior. Additionally, CBD vaping has a wide range of health benefits, including helping with anxiety and pain management. Aside from understanding the safety of vaping, it is also essential to acknowledge that it is safer than smoking. According to the Public Health of England, vaping is 95% safer than smoking cigarettes. Below are some of the health comparisons that arise between vaping and smoking.

Does Vaping Harm the Lungs?

Smoking cigarettes is well known for causing lung cancer. Long-term tobacco intake can cause various esophageal and lung cancer and other lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis. Chemicals present in a cigarette, also known as carcinogens, are more than seventy. In addition, the tiny bits of tobacco and paper remain in the lungs, which accumulate over a long time of smoking hence causing lung cancer. The residues are also absorbed in tissues. Hence, they can cause harm to other parts.  But what about vaping? How harmful is it to your lungs? There are no known carcinogens produced during vaping. Besides, it does not have any solid residues that can get buried in the tissues. The fact is the majority of substances available in smoking are absent in vaping.

When vaping, combustion does not take place; thus no tar or carbon monoxide is being released into the body.  During vaping, a smoke-like aerosol is produced from heating the e-juice, but in the real sense, it's not smoke. That said, hardly vaping causes any lung disease. However, if inhaled wrongly, it may cause throat irritations.

Does Vaping Cause Havoc to your Oral Health?

Tar is among the components present in cigarettes. It is a toxic element that causes harm to the lungs of the smoker over time. Additionally, it causes discoloration of teeth and rotting in the mouth. Therefore, long-term smoking also leads to oral diseases. However, there is no tar produced during CBD vaping or any other chemicals that may cause oral health complications.

Additionally, there is concern about the explosion of vapes in the mouth or on the user's face. While it is true that explosion may occur and cause mouth or face injuries, this is purely a faulty battery issue. Therefore as you make your purchase ensure the battery is high quality and well regulated.

Smoking Is Detrimental to One’s Health, but What About Vaping

Smoking is well known for its negative effects on the whole body. The carcinogens produced when smoking can be absorbed in any party of the body and may cause havoc. However, not much has been proven about the negative health impacts of vaping CBD. Most physicians recommend it for medicinal purposes.  Hence, compared to smoking, vaping has little to unknown health risks.
