Hank Aaron

The Hall of Fame baseball player, born Henry Louis"Hank" Aaron, died in his sleep at age 86, the Atlanta Braves declared on January 22. "He had been a beacon for our company first as a participant, then with player development, and constantly together with our community efforts," the company said in a statement. "His unbelievable ability and resolve helped him attain the greatest achievements, however he never dropped his humble character. Henry Louis Aaron was not only our superstar, but only one across Major League Baseball and across the globe." The home run hitter was famous for his 23 years as a MLB player, all but two of these played the Milwaukee and the Atlanta Braves. Off the field he had been an activist for civil rights, was a sufferer of inequalities during his lifetime.

Angie Jakusz

The Survivor alum expired in New Orleans after a lengthy struggle with cancer on January 8. "Angie was a remarkably enthusiastic individual who has an extraordinary bliss for life," her loved ones composed in an obituary released via Nola.com. "Whether she had been sewing, drawing, painting, performing nail art or makeup, costuming, snorkeling, reading, scuba diving, travel or simply raising hell, then she did it with laser accuracy. She had been a founding member of the New Orleans sounds Coalition and was a contestant on season 10 of Survivor."

Joanne Rogers

No cause of death was granted in the moment. "Fred Rogers Productions is profoundly saddened by the departure of Joanne Rogers. The adoring partner of Fred Rogers for over 50 decades, she continued his shared dedication to encouraging children and families following his passing chair of the board of Fred Rogers Productions," Fred Rogers Productions composed in a statement. "Joanne was a brilliant and accomplished musician, a superb advocate for the arts, and also a dear friend to everybody in our business. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Joanne's family along with the tens of thousands of folks who had the chance of knowing and enjoying her."

Peter Mark Richman

Phil Spector

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation verified on January 17 the audio producer died"of natural causes" on January 16 while in"an external hospital" According to the release,"His official cause of death will be decided by the medical examiner from the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office."

John Reilly

Deezer D

The actor, born Dearon Thompson, expired on January 7 in age 55 after being found unresponsive in his Los Angeles house, TMZ reported. Deezer D was famous for playing nurse Malik McGrath on ER. After his departure, many of the former costars such as Noah Wyle paid tribute to him through social networking. "I lost a dear friend yesterday" Wyle wrote on January 8 through Instagram. "He had been among the very creative and charismatic guys I have ever known and his gospel of joy pulled up us from many a dim location. I'll miss him horribly."

Tommy Lasorda

The former Los Angeles Dodgers manager, that won two World Series titles with the group and was inducted in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997, died at age 93 on January 7.

Marion Ramsey

The former Broadway star expired on January 7 at age 73. The celebrity, who had been best known for enjoying Officer Laverne Hooks at the Police Academy franchise, was sick in the days leading up to her departure, Deadline reported.

Tanya Roberts

The celebrity, who had been famous for her appearance for a Bond girl opposite Roger Moore at 1985's A View to a Kill and also for enjoying Midge Pinciotti on That'70s Show, dropped in her house on Christmas Eve after licking her dogs. She had been carried to the hospital and put on a ventilator. While her rep originally claimed she expired on January 3, Roberts' spouse, Lance O'Brien, afterwards learned while filming a meeting with Interior Edition on January 4 which she had been still living. News broke on January 5 which Roberts finally did not recover and had passed away.

George Gerdes

His life partner, Judy Johns, confirmed the information to The Hollywood Reporter three times afterwards.

Kerry Vincent

The Food Network Challenge judge expired on January 2 in age 75 in an undisclosed illness.

"It's with fantastic sadness I must report the death of Kerry Vincent before this day," see an announcement about the Facebook page to the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show, a nonprofit company the Australian baker and cake programmer uttered. "Being a very private man in regards to all things not cake, she didn't wish to place out her illness there to the general public. Regrettably her fight has come to a conclusion but she'll no longer have any pain. She'll be sorely missed by everybody who she's touched throughout the Sugar Arts as [well] as soon. There'll not be any services per her request.

Gerry Marsden

The lead singer of this British group Gerry and the Pacemakers expired on January 3 following a brief illness. The singer's daughter, Yvette Marbeck, stated that her dad went to the hospital on December 26 after tests revealed he needed a blood disease that had traveled into his heart. "It was a really brief illness and overly quick to comprehend actually," she told the Press Association. "He was our father, our hero, hot, humorous and everything you see is exactly what you have."
