The Federal government has cut off the preliminary financial statements for 2018, according to last year to 12.8 billion euros more than planned.
Berlin - A Surplus of EUR 11.2 billion could be fed to non-scheduled reserve for refugee costs, it said on Friday from the Federal Ministry of Finance. A further 1.6 billion euros had to be taken also different than planned out of the reserve.
The expenditure of the Federal government were, therefore, in the past year, a total of EUR 337.1 billion euros. These were 6.5 billion less than in the budget provided. Tax revenues were, therefore, 322,4 billion euros to 1.1 billion euros, above expectations. The investment of the Federal government were given with 38.1 billion Euro, 1.7 billion Euro less than expected.
