Aya Nakamura sentenced for violence: what happened?

AYA NAKAMURA. Singer Aya Nakamura and her former companion, producer Vladimir Boudnikoff, were tried for "reciprocal violence against a spouse" after an argument that arose in 2022.

[Updated on February 23, 2023 at 6:32 p.m.] Aya Nakamura and Vladimir Boudnikoff sentenced by the courts: the former couple were fined 10,000 and 5,000 euros respectively, sentences taking into account each person's resources, for violence which occurred in the summer of 2022. A verdict handed down this Thursday, February 23 by the Bobigny Criminal Court, and higher than the penalties which had been required at the end of January, amounting to 5,000 euros for Aya Nakamura and 2,000 euros for Vladimir Boudnikoff.

The trial of the two artists opened on January 26, after the hearing was postponed, Aya Nakamura and Vladimir Boudnikoff not having appeared on November 24 at what was to be the first hearing of the trial. At the end of January, the former couple had recognized a "slippage" which occurred last summer, at the home of the producer and father of the singer's baby, in Rosny-sur-Bois, in Seine-Saint-Denis.

The case broke out in August 2022: on the night of Saturday August 6 to Sunday August 7, the couple was placed in police custody, before going out free, having an appointment in November with the justice system. That famous night, Aya Nakamura and Vladimir Boudnikoff had called the police around 1:45 a.m., against a backdrop of tension between them. Without apparent "notions of violence", the police had finally left the scene, reported a source familiar with the matter, as related by La Voix du Nord. Aya Nakamura would, according to the same source, later returned to the scene, her companion again appealing to the police, "saying fear for his safety."

Arrested, the interpreter of Djadja would then have been placed in police custody and would have declared, still according to the media, to have suffered violence from his spouse, in turn taken into police custody. "We did something stupid that night and that's life too. The woman I love and I are doing very well. Nothing serious, nothing," said Vladimir Boudnikoff a few days after the fact. on Instagram. “There were no real blows, there was no strangulation, we are more about damage to objects”, indicated last August a source close to the investigation at Le Figaro.

Between Aya Nakamura and Vladimir Boudnikoff, the argument would have started from a lie from the producer about going to a wedding to which the singer was not invited and having found her ex there. "We jostled, I threw things at Vlad. It's the emotion. I did not manage it at that time. There, it was Mrs. Danioko. It was not Aya Nakamura", underlines the artist during the hearing of January 26, reports BFMTV. As for their separation, she concludes at the bar: "Now we are separated but we are trying to get along well with the little one. Everything is peaceful."

Aya Nakamura and Vladimir Boudnikoff had been a couple since 2020. The couple first met in 2018, on the set of Pookie's music video.
