The iPhone 15 is in the spotlight thanks to Apple's Keynote conference, which is being held this Tuesday evening (7 p.m. in France), from Cupertino. Numerous leaks have already preceded the launch of the new smartphone from the Apple brand. And even already some controversies. The connection ports, the new features linked to iOS 17, but also and above all the price of Apple's latest phone are already much discussed and the iPhone seems well on its way to getting people talking about it.
Although the iPhone 15 has not yet been officially announced, it has indeed been possible to find a multitude of information on the Internet for a few months now.
The web reacted to the changes that should be made by Apple and linked in particular to the new European laws to make chargers standard. Main reason for discussions: the iPhone 15 would have a USB-C input. A first on one of Apple's smartphones. This novelty therefore marks Apple's famous transfer and the total abandonment of its Thunderbolt chargers.
Owners of previous versions of iPhone - iPhone 12, iPhone 13 or iPhone 14 - will therefore be able to throw their old Lightning cables in the trash... But that's not all: the iPhone 15 would be equipped with a new A17 chip Bionic, at least for Pro models, therefore not necessarily for classic and Plus models. Enough to still make a few disappointed.
Apple wants to make the iPhone 15 its ultimate phone. There are therefore other new features which should make an impression. Among them, a new periscopic telephoto lens allowing the smartphone to zoom up to x5 or even x6 is expected. We are talking about the disappearance of the SIM card in favor of an eSIM which is now non-removable and configured remotely.
The new design of the iPhone, with a titanium frame and thinner edges to make it borderless or almost borderless, is also announced. The titanium frame, for its part, will allow for greater lightness and strength, two points which have long drawn criticism of the American giant.
