They write this anti-migrant message on a sign, the mayor of Besançon files a complaint

The town hall of Besançon has filed a complaint against Nemesis, a far-right feminist collective. Women held signs linking rape to foreign men during a festival in the city on Sunday (April 7).

Two women from the Nemesis collective - a "feminist identity movement", in the words of the association - held up signs on which it was written: "Foreign rapists out" and "free us from immigration", during the carnival from Besançon, Sunday April 7.

The environmentalist husband of Besançon, Anne Vignot, announced on Sunday April 7 that she was filing a complaint for “incitement to hatred”. "They appear without difficulty, in a completely uninhibited manner, during a demonstration in which they benefit from a large audience. They want to fuel hatred against migrants. It's filthy. It's scandalous and it's "It's incredible to experience this in France," said Anne Vignot, interviewed by l'Est Républicain.

Nemesis responded to the elected official on Alice Cordier, director of the movement, also spoke: "Yes, we called for the expulsion of rapists who are foreigners. Do you oppose this Anne Vignot?" she tweeted.

The collective also displayed a banner on a facade on which it was written: “46 women could have been spared if the OQTF had been applied in 2023”.

Last November, Nemesis had already been targeted by a complaint in Besançon, filed by the University of Franche-Comté for “incitement to hatred”. The collective would have written the same slogan on walls: “free us from immigration”. The complaint is currently in the process of being closed.

Nemesis has regularly displayed far-right positions, particularly on the subject of immigration. Marine Le Pen and Eric Zemmour were supported by members of the collective during the 2022 presidential election.
