"I love and pray for you," Sharnaburgess replied to his Instagram post, before sharing it onto her Story.

Fuller House alumna Peta Murgatroyd frequently asked her social media friends to pray for her husband's safe return.

Murgatroyd, who married the Ukrainian native in 2017 has shared many tributes to her husband's homeland with her mother.

"My mum's first and only Instagram post. Lightening candles for my husband," the New Zealand native posted via Instagram Story Saturday along with a photo of two lit candles and a frame photo of Chmerkovskiy & Murgatroyd.

Chmerkovskiy, who was born in Odessa in Ukraine before his family immigrated in 1994 to the United States, had been living in Kyiv the past six months as he filmed World of Dance. has shared his experiences with fans amid the Russian invasion.

"Honestly, it's getting very emotional. It has been difficult. You know me. I am strong. "I don't want to show it, but my heart is set on going home," Chmerkovskiy said in an Instagram video. "I'm realizing that my friends, who have kids, whose parents, and the elderly, are here, can't just flee. I'm not asking for safety from afar, but from a safe distance. I am someone who is about to enter a bomb shelter as s-t's falling."

The Ukrainian-American dancer noticed that he was feeling exhausted on Sunday and took to an Instagram live video to express his feelings. He told his followers that this was going to escalate into human suffering at a historic, crazy level or stop now.

Chmerkovskiy was previously a headline-maker for challenging Kirstie All over misinformation and gave a shoutout at the journalists in Kyiv.

But, the DWTSpro stressed that what he really desires is peace and a path home. "I just want to get home at this moment," he said. He said that he was just hoping for a peaceful end to this whole thing.

His wife, Chmerkovskiy, who has a 5-year-old son Shai with, tried to remind him of happier times ahead.

"I love and cherish you. You w I promise that you will be back soon. Imagine how many bbqs we're going to have. "Then there are the fishing trips with Shai," Murgatroyd said in the video, adding a smiley face and heart emoticon.
