A fake site impersonates the Ministry of the Armed Forces and encourages the French to "commit to Ukraine", the name of the site's URL, registered on March 15, according to Tech

The Ministry of the Armed Forces denounces a “disinformation campaign” this March 28 on X, formerly Twitter. Another piece of information was recently denied. A few days ago, Russia announced the sending of 2,000 French soldiers to Ukraine. France spoke of “irresponsible provocations” from Moscow.

Announcements which come after Emmanuel Macron “assumed” the possibility of sending Western soldiers to Ukraine. The French president also clarified that France "will not carry out an offensive". The site also uses a quote from Emmanuel Macron: “Russia must not win this war”, we can read on the home page. Pro-Russian accounts widely shared the address of this web page on X, including fake news accounts.
