Apple reveals the date of an upcoming conference, before the June Keynote

This is news that is already getting people talking. While we were expecting a conference in June to launch its new products, Apple surprises everyone. On the homepage of its Apple.com site, for a few hours now, there has been a laconic invitation of which only it has the secret. Apple will meet the many curious people at a conference, organized on May 7, 2024, at 4 p.m., one month before its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Keynote organized in June.

The May 2024 Keynote was announced via a colorful illustration, available in several versions on the Apple brand's website. And the visual already reveals a lot about the Cupertino company’s upcoming announcements. The theme of this conference, around the term “Illustrate”, leaves no doubt as to the identity of a new Apple Pencil. Its design is also very recognizable in the foreground of the main variation of the image (top left below). The creation, although very explicit, leaves room for many questions regarding new revelations. But the idea of ​​a new iPad or a tool dedicated to graphic creation clearly shines through.

Some products are in fact much more anticipated by the brand's subscribers than the pencil, but nothing will be officialized before the event. At the beginning of April, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman notably mentioned the release of a new iPad Pro and an iPad Air. The American brand would on this occasion switch to OLED screens, of higher quality, on all of the new iPad Pros. All at prices obviously higher than the last generations.

However, there is no chance of seeing an iPhone 16 come out of the hat. The release of the iPhone is traditionally announced during the big Apple back-to-school Keynote in September and the year 2024 should be no exception to the rule.
