Bayern: man rams on the opposite lane, a car and dies, Five injured in hospital

On Thursday, a 89-Year-old in upper Franconia, close to Forchheim, on the opposite lane and hit another car. The man did not survive the accident.

Forhheim - In case of a severe frontal collision on Thursday in Forchheim in upper Franconia, a 89-year-old motorist has been killed. A 22-year-old driver was critically injured, her mother and three children suffered serious injuries, the police announced. The 89-Year-old from the district of Bamberg, was a police officer with his car on the Federal highway B470 against a car in which the 22-Year-old at the wheel sat.

The Senior was in the afternoon in the direction of Forchheim on the road, as he was at the height of the Forchheimer part of the city Reuth from as yet unknown causes with his car to the Banquet, then the tax slating and in the oncoming traffic drove. The young female driver and her 44-year-old mother, were trapped in the car. Firefighters had to free the women, and three children in the rear from the wreck.

After the initial treatment, rescue and brought the helicopter to the life-threatening injured driver to a hospital. The 44-year-old mother suffered severe injuries and came, as their three medium-severely injured children to the hospital. The 89-Year-old died shortly after the collision his injuries.
