'The devil wears Prada' becomes a musical with music by Elton John

The musical adaptation of the bestselling novel by Lauren Weisberger, will debut a preview of the pre-Broadway on 14 June 2020, at the James M. Nederlander Theatre in Chicago, where it will remain in the program until August 16. The direction is entrusted to Anna Davida Shapiro , winner of a Tony Award for best director for The secrets of Osage County, while the music will be curated by Elton John , which on Broadway has already signed adaptations of extraordinary success as The lion king and Billy Elliott.
