The speed skating world mourns the death of Paulien van Deutekom. The former world champion died at the age of only 37 years.
Amsterdam – former Dutch speed skating world champion Paulien van Deutekom died on Wednesday at the age of 37 years to lung cancer. Van Deutekom is survived by her husband and a one year old daughter.
